The Tsakhkadzor Sport Center & Hotel is situated on the southwest slope of Mount Teghenis, just 55 km from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
It originally opened in 1967 for athletes to train before the Olympic Games in Mexico.
With its unique weather, climatic conditions, and high-altitude location 2, 000 meters above sea level, the 55-hectare Tsakhkadzor Sport Center is considered one of the best places for training and sports activities in Eastern Europe.
The Tsakhkadzor Sport Center is fully equipped with modern sports halls and gymnasiums, an indoor Olympic pool, saunas, as well as outdoor and indoor tennis courts all meeting international standards and ready to host athletes from all over the world in a variety of sports including tennis, water sports, athletics, basketball, volleyball, football, martial arts, weightlifting, wrestling, boxing, badminton, biathlon, and skiing.
